This Saturday, Freewater Presentations is screening “The Zone of Interest.” Johnathan Glazier’s masterpiece portrays the banality of evil during the Holocaust in heart-wrenching fashion. This Best Picture nominated film will be screened in the Bryan Center across from McDonald’s.
Moderated conversation between professors Nicolette Cagle, Katie Rose Levin, and student Emma Childs on Duke University campus trees. Species type, landscape management decisions, and benefits of trees would be discussed. The group will lead a “Tree Ramble”, a nature excursion with guiding questions and thoughts by the facilitators.
