We have rented a Duke Approved Charter bus to take students to DC on the day of the Brazilian Election and back so they can vote (voting is mandatory in Brazil) and tour the consulate.
NPHC would like to host a Duke Homecoming afterparty. This would allow students to continue celebrating the homecoming game, in hopes that we win of course! An afterparty would let students bond and have fun at the same time! I envision this event being an opportunity for students to foster a home-like community outside of campus.
The event includes a brief presentation on GSAID, the resources available for international students, and a general guideline for having a better life while residing in North Carolina. Refreshments and snacks, Persian tea, and pre-packaged baked goods are provided to attendees. After a brief social meet and greet session, dinner will be served.
