We will specifically be teaching bachata, a popular style and genre of music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 20th century. No experience necessary. Parents are welcome! We are making food together in swift with Duke Chinese Dance! We’ll travel to Liming supermarket to get some ingredients and come back to swift to make food, likely hotpot.
We are inviting a panel of professionals and current graduate students to share about their experiences in Masters and PhD programs in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
The DCC will be cooking and serving dinner to families transitioning out of homelessness through Families Moving Forward (FMF). FMF is a local non-profit that provides safe housing as well as enrichment programs to help families break the cycle of poverty. We will be praying for these families and cooking dinner on Monday, November 13th at 7:00 PM at the FAH.
Come watch Jazz@ student musicians perform in Coffeehouse. There will be CD decorating and food trucks followed by a screening of Whiplash!
