Rehearsal for Duke’s premiere South Asian A Cappella team.
Each week we’ll learn mindfulness skills for members of the Black community to use daily to consciously engender attitudes of gratitude, non-judgement and self-compassion; regulate our nervous systems; and cultivate rest. These mindfulness skills are essential to sustaining our efforts to resist systematic racism in everyday life, while protecting our mental health and wellbeing.
This weekend, Freewater Presentations will be showing a double feature of “Black Panther” and “Wakanda Forever”! On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, come to Griffith Theater to see “Black Panther” at 7pm and the newest sequel “Wakanda Forever” at 10pm!
