During Trivia Nights, seven teams of students representing all seven Quads face off against each other with trivia questions designed to test their knowledge on pop culture, current events, geography, history, science, and everything in between. We will be hosting a Lobbying 101 workshop in partnership with El Pueblo, a local non-profit. Our goal is to prepare students for a lobbying trip to the North Carolina General Assembly. El Pueblo will provide students with the necessary material, history, and knowledge to lobby our local representatives for immigrant rights.

Our second, and final, lobbying workshop with El Pueblo will be about power mapping. This is the strategy of identifying and analyzing key players and stakeholders within particular issues. This workshop will be critical in developing effective lobbying strategies in preparation for our trip to the North Carolina General Assembly.

Based on the formula made famous by the Christmas Lessons and Carols from King’s College, Cambridge, this service follows a similar pattern of readings, choral anthems, and congregational hymns. Paid parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis in the Bryan Center garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
