All About That BASE! is a series of fun events in Base held throughout the semester! The events are focused on building community, inviting folks to our shared space, and creating memories. The events are very informal, ranging from study sessions, game nights, to presentations. Please come, invite your friends, and have a wonderful time (with snacks)!
With our partner flight school at RDU, FlightGest Academy, members will be taken on a tour through the FBO and ramp at RDU with opportunities to see and explore the various aircraft on the ramp. There will also be opportunities to converse with flight instructors and learn more about the flight training process.

Encompasses all volunteering trips for BCS volunteers at Duke. In a given trip, a group of volunteers will drive to Neal Middle School, help tutor students in their classes for about 1 hour, and then drive back to campus.
For the second week of our Oscars series, Freewater Presentations is excited to screen the three time Oscar nominated film, “The Whale” and Best Picture nominee, “Tár”. “The Whale” will be at 7pm and “Tár” at 10pm in Griffith Theater in the Bryan Center on Friday and Saturday!
