Lancaster Commons 23-24 Housing Application is closed. IMPORTANT: Lancaster Commons is currently full for the 2023-2024 academic year. The application is now closed. A waitlist remains for students who submitted applications before June 13. A small number of apartments or bedrooms may become available throughout the summer, and we will notify applicants whose preference match those vacancies on a rolling basis. GET READY TO HAVE FUN! All new-to-Duke students will engage in an exciting experiential orientation model. Students will be orientated to Duke and Durham through a thematic-based orientation group emphasizing small group interaction, upper-class mentorship, and fun throughout each day. Throughout Orientation Week, you will grow close to your group, participate in Duke traditions, take field trips, learn about Duke campus and resources, make meaningful relationships, and learn what it means to be a Duke student.
