Next Level Leadership

Leadership For Everyone

Next Level Leadership is a series of trainings and workshops that help student leaders solve problems, increase efficiency, learn from fellow leaders, and strengthen their leadership skills.

Sessions are offered periodically throughout the semester on wide range of topics. Topics vary based on student organization interest and  needs. See below for a sample list of topics open to everyone.

  • Event Planning
  • Officer Transition
  • Recruiting & Retaining Members
  • Risk Management

Student Organization Requirements

In order to maintain good standing with the university, student organizations are required to participate in training/development opportunities throughout the year. By participating in these workshops student leaders will:

  • build stronger communities within their organization 
  • become more knowledgable about university policies and processes
  • grow their leadership skills
  • create sustainable structures within their organization

Groups must:

  1. send at least one representative to the Leadership Summit
    • this is recommended for officers, but open to group members
    • one person can represent up to two groups
  2. send a representative to three Series workshops throughout the academic year
    • anyone from a group is eligible to attend on behalf of their organization
    • one person can represent up to two groups
    • groups need to attend three different session topics
