Student Organization Finance Committee (SOFC) is a group of undergraduate students committed to the support of Duke undergraduate student organizations and an affiliate body of Duke Student Government.

Endowment Fund Request

There are multiple endowments to support Recognized Student Organizations. Endowment funding categories include: 

  • Bassett – supports projects that elicit intellectual curiosity and benefit the Duke community, especially in the fields of creative writing and communication arts.
  • Browkaw – for community service activities hosted by Duke recognized student organizations. 
  • Wetherby – for undegraduate student organizations to have experience in forensics applying special knowledge and skills in exhange with students and faculties at other institutions generally enhacing Duke University by competition in forensic tournaments.
