CMA: Wekit (pronounced “way-ki-th”)’s primary focus is to serve and preserve the history, culture, and experience of the Native American and Indigenous communities at Duke University. This space is located in Bryan Center 001A.

During it’s beginnings, students voted and decided to name the space "Wekit". This means home in Carolina Algonquian - the language in which several tribes in North Carolina speak a variation of.
