WorkOUT: The Duke Faculty and Staff LGBTQ Affinity Group
The mission of WorkOUT: Duke's LGBTQ Affinity Group is to build connections between LGBTQ staff and faculty across campus in order to better support each other and the students we serve. We currently meet for Third Thursday lunches on campus and occasional weekend social events. Discussions of additional group activities (hikes, movies, lectures, etc) are in the works. If you are interested in participating in any of our events, please join our SYMPA mailing list: lgbtq-faculty-staff, and/or email Ciara.firstname.lastname@example.org to request to be added to our private Facebook page.
For members of the Duke community who are interested in getting involved in the local community or looking for community resources, we recommend visiting the LGBTQ Center of Durham's website to visit their Resources page.
A Duke Clinical Research Institute Employee Resource Group (ERG) committed to increasing awareness, addressing LGBTQ+ issues, and advocating for civil and human rights in the DCRI community and beyond.
