Early Move-in & Orientations

SSA & DMV Trips

DISC provides drop-off only trips to the Social Security Administration every other Monday at 9 a.m. and Department of Motor Vehicles (driver's license and state ID) every second Thursday at 11:30 a.m. during the fall and spring semester. For both SSA and DMV trips, students should plan to take public transit or ride shares back to campus.

The Duke International Student Center offers early move-in activities and check-in for international first-year undergraduate students, early summer transition activities for graduate students, and weekly online orientations for scholars and their families.
