The Duke International Student Center (DISC) offers opportunities for students to participate in various events during the Passport to Duke & Durham arrival process for undergraduate students, as well as summer welcome events for graduate & professional students.
DISC's Graduate & Professional Welcome Events
DISC does not have a required/formal orientation for incoming graduate & professional students. Incoming students can expect to receive email newsletters from DISC throughout the summer with important information about their transition to Duke & Durham, as well as tips from current students & a calendar of (optional) welcome events throughout the summer that are open to all!
