Duke University is excited to welcome the Class of 2028, including 206 international students from 86 countries, showcasing the university’s commitment to global diversity. The top five countries represented among the incoming students are the United Kingdom, China, Canada, South Korea, and India.
Kevin D’Arco, Senior Associate Dean of International Students, states that Duke is dedicated to supporting international students as they transition into a new country and university setting. The Duke International Student Center (DISC) plays a crucial role in this effort by offering year-round support, engagement opportunities, and a safe space for both undergraduate and graduate students.
DISC’s upcoming events include a Duke Football tailgate on August 30, the grand opening of its satellite office in the Bryan Center on September 11, and a gathering at Boxcar Bar & Arcade on October 17. For more details and updates, follow DISC on Instagram @duke_intlstudentcenter.
