GENERAL INFO:
The Duke Student Affairs office of Graduate and Professional Student Services (GPSS) is excited to offer the Graduate and Professional Student Resource Fair taking place on Friday, January 31st from 1-4 PM in Penn Pavilion on West Campus.
The Resource Fair is a great opportunity to connect with over 50 Duke and Durham resources, offices and organizations. Additionally, students2 will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes with one of the vendors to win a $10,000 scholarship that will go toward their tuition!
The fair is designed for all grad/prof students, so whether this is your first semester or fifth, drop in and see what opportunities may align with your personal or professional goals.
Please bring your Duke ID (card or digital).

Who will be there?

Will there be giveaways or swag? WE LOVE SWAG!
Yes!
- There will swag and door prizes you can win as you gather knowledge and resources. Many of our vendors will also have some stuff to give away to students visiting their tables.
Do I need to register?
There is no registration required. However, students who register before the event:
- Will receive an email reminder 1 day before the event, and
- Be entered into raffles for additional GPSS swag, to be received after the fair!
I am an international student. Is there anything I should know?
Bring your passport in case a federally-recognized ID is needed to sign up for any services.
SCHOLARSHIP INFO:
Students who attend the fair and visit the PNC Banking table will have the opportunity to enter a national sweepstakes to win a $10,000 scholarship!
Here is a summary of the program:
- On June 1, 2025, PNC will be randomly awarding six $10,000 scholarships, for a total of $60,000.
- There are no essays required and no GPAs to submit. Just enter-to-win.
- There are three criteria to enter:
- Must be 18 or older on the drawing date.
- Must be a U.S. citizen. (Unfortunately, not open to International students.)
- Must be a university student and carrying at least a 50% load of classes.
- The student does not have to be a PNC customer.
- The drawing of six scholarships will take place on June 1, 2025.
- The funds will be sent to the University for distribution. They will ask the University to confirm the winner is a student.
- The odds of winning are determined by the number of entrants. Entrants at the Resource Fair will automatically be entered into the June drawing.
- PNC will not email the entrants with any sales messages (no spam) and they will not sell or provide their email address to any third party.
