New Student & Family Programs is looking for student leaders who want to be a part of the fun of Move-In Day, the bonding in Orientation Week, and the important conversations with incoming new-to-Duke students. The time is now to APPLY to be an Orientation Leader!
Orientation Week, the FAC Program, and Pre-Os are all getting a makeover. This incoming group of Orientation Leaders will pioneer a newly formatted, but familiarly spirit-filled time of leader training and student welcoming August 15-28.
All current students who will be enrolled in Fall 2022 (whether in Duke or abroad) and will be available August 15-28 are eligible. East Campus RAs are welcome to apply!
Information Session
An Information Session will be held on Tuesday, March 15 from 6-7pm in Reuben-Cooke 126 to answer all of your questions. In-person attendance is encouraged! Orientation 2022
Orientation 2022 will merge Pre-Orientation programs and O-Week into one immersive EXperience. New students will navigate the week through a unique program, schedule, and with 60-100 students per track. In each program, students will build community, make connections with upper-class students, explore Duke and Durham, and adjust to life at Duke. Each program’s content is centered around a theme, similar to our former pre-orientation programs. Tracks include former pre-orientation programs and new track themes! Each program is led by two student Program Directors and staffed by a team of Orientation Leaders-OLs (previously known as FACs and Pre-O staffers) and campus partners.
