As Assistant Director, Natalia designs and manages co-curricular programs that enhance graduate student success and engagement at Duke. Natalia advises students on a range of non-visa related topics and partners with university departments and community organizations to create meaningful learning and development opportunities that foster student growth. She also oversees the Global Fellows Leadership Program, managing its development and delivery while facilitating workshops and presentations on intercultural leadership, professional growth, and community engagement.
Originally from Texas, Natalia has lived in multiple U.S. states as well as China and Mexico. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with minors in Spanish and Professional Writing from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. Before higher education, Natalia worked in corporate technology sales at Oracle and has experience in recruitment and onboarding, residential community management, career services, and academic advising. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, trying new restaurants, and pursuing her interests in languages, music, and travel.
