Assistant DirectorRezin Davis is a passionate advocate for education and community building. Coming from a family of lifelong educators, he has always had a deep appreciation for the transformative power of learning. After earning his degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Rezin moved to Charlotte, NC, where he initially explored Sales and Marketing. However, his true calling brought him back to education, leading him to a Non-Profit organization focused on empowering elementary and high school teachers and administrators through professional development.
Rezin recently joined Duke from the EdTech company BrainPOP, where he engaged with parents looking for solutions to support their children’s educational growth outside of school. Now, as the Assistant Director of Communications in Student Affairs, Rezin’s role is to amplify the voices and achievements of the Duke community. Whether you’re seeking a conversation or collaboration, his office in Smith Warehouse is always open.
In his free time, Rezin is on the hunt to find Durham’s best culinary gems. At home, he enjoys indulging in reading or watching movies with his partner(a Duke alumna!). As a devoted sports fan, Rezin has always enjoyed the culture and teams of Duke Basketball. However, his allegiances may waver when Notre Dame comes to town, so tread carefully if you dare to inquire.
