Tasha Curry-Corcoran is a learning and organizational development leader with over 25 years of experience working with Fortune 500 technology companies, retail, military, community development, and advocacy organizations. She is an award-winning member of the Association for Talent Development, holds a Masters degree in Human and Organizational Learning from George Washington University and a BA in Foreign Affairs from The University of Virginia.
As part of the SASRO team Tasha guides the staff learning and development strategy for the division and creates spaces for staff to learn from each other as well as from campus and community partners. She directs the division’s new staff orientation program, annual awards, employee resource groups, ongoing DEI learning, and supervisor training programs. Tasha is a consistent advocate for staff wellness and teaches both Mental Health First Aid and Koru Mindfulness courses.
Mrs. Curry-Corcoran is the daughter and granddaughter of Black trailblazers, the mother of two emerging-adult daughters, the wife of a fearless beekeeper, and the housemate of 1 adorable, but troublesome, beagle. At her home in Carrboro, you can find her trying new vegan recipes, planning her next escape to the beach, or singing songs from the Barbie soundtrack.
