The Sexual Misconduct Climate Survey measures Duke's campus climate around sexual harassment and violence. These surveys are considered a best practice for universities to understand sexual misconduct, evaluate resources and response tools, and inform prevention efforts. By examining the diverse experiences of students, the survey helps foster a more inclusive and equitable campus environment.
Please take a few moments to complete the survey. Participation is voluntary and anonymous, and all answers will remain confidential.
Survey Incentives
Please note: The contact information you submit on the incentives form will be kept entirely separate from your survey responses
Tokens of appreciation for survey participation:
- $5 in food points (provided to any student who completes the survey and provides their contact information on the incentives form)
- Raffle prizes (any student who completes the survey and provides their contact information on the incentives form will be entered). Students will complete the survey during the first week of the survey launch (ENTER DATES) will receive 20 incentive raffle entries; surveys completed during the second week (ENTER DATES) will receive 15 raffle entries; during the third week (ENTER DATES), will receive 10 raffle entries; and during the final week (ENTER DATES), will receive 5 raffle entries.

- Winners will be notified via email after the survey closes and the raffle drawing has taken place.

Survey results are submitted to a secure, off-campus server hosted by and accessible only to an external consultant (Rankin) who will compile the results and share with Duke administration.
