Off Campus Resources

Here is a list of off campus resources that may be helpful for anyone who has experienced Gender Violence.

Durham Crisis Response Center - Offers support for local survivors of gender violence. Their 24/7 hotline is: 919-403-6562

The Solace Center - Offers immediate support for survivors of sexual violence. It is the first community based sexual assault forensic examination center in North Carolina. Their 24/7 hotline is: 919- 828-7740

LGBTQ Center of Durham – Offers support for LGBTQIA survivors in the Triangle area, such as advocacy, support groups, and resource navigation.

RAINN - National nonprofit anti-sexual assault organization. Offers 24/7 support for survivors and loved ones. Their 24/7 hotline is:1-800-656-4673

Kiran –Kiran is a non-profit organization in the State of North Carolina that serves south Asian folks facing domestic violence and sexual assault. Their 24/7 hotline is:1-877-625-4726

StrongHearts Native Helpline – StrongHearts serves indigenous survivors of relationship violence. They can be reached at 1-844-762-8483 or through using the chat feature on their website.

Call Blackline – A peer support based crisis hotline centering the experiences of  BIPOC individuals. They can be reached at 1-800-604-5841.

National Deaf Domestic Violence Hotline – Can be reached 24/7 in a variety of ways, including email, video calls, and voice calls. If using a voice call, an interpreter will be assigned for the duration of the call.

The Network/La Red – 24-7 hotline for LGBTQIA survivors of relationship violence, which can be accessed at 800-832-1901.

FORGE – Offers self-help guides for trans survivors of interpersonal and sexual violence.

Amala warmline – Offers call and text in options during limited weekly hours for Muslim young people needing support with a variety of concerns. They can be reached at 855-95-AMALA.

The Trevor Project - Offers help and suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth.  

The LGBT National Hotline - 24/7 hotline that refers to over 15,000 resources across the country that support LGBTQ+ individuals, available at 888-843-4564

1in6 - This organization offers supportive resources for male survivors and their allies. 24/hr online helpline available.

Malesurvivor - Offers support groups, chatrooms, and other services for male-identified survivors of sexual abuse or violence.

Know Your IX: Title IX and Immigration - Offers information regarding considerations international students may consider when filing Title IX Complaints.
