We have weekly sessions for the Duke Effective Altruism introductory fellowship called the Arete Fellowship. Each room will have about 5 people: 4 fellows and a facilitator. There will be about 20-25 people from Duke EA in the link dispersed across the 4 small group study rooms.
Leadership requires daring to build relationships, to be vulnerable, and to be resilient. In this session, we’ll discuss behaviors for leaders to move from armored leadership into daring leadership.
Come explore how gender dynamics and concepts of masculinity affect the cultural experiences of the Latinx community. This is an interactive event that allows us to learn and discuss our personal experiences and figure out how to move forward as a community. Open to latinx member and allies alike.
This workshop will guide students through learning and rehearsing anxiety and stress reduction techniques to help calm the mind and quiet the mind for more effective study habits and more rewarding connections. RSVP not required, but preferred for accuracy of food and resources.

Come join us to learn about his work and about what we can do as a community. He will also be signing copies of his book, “African American and Latinx History of the United States”. Planned Parenthood Generation Action hosts a GBM to phone bank for candidates that Planned Parenthood decides to endorse. We will also host a game night alongside the phone calls to incentivize students to come for prizes and fun! In addition, reproductive healthcare kits provided by the national organization will be available for assembly. Food will be served.
