Housing and Residence Life

Everything you need to know about living on campus at Duke.

Learn how you can connect and develop a sense of belonging.

Housing and Residence Life manages all aspects of the university’s three-year undergraduate residency requirement. Residential programs are designed to build positive communities that value learning, create new opportunities for faculty engagement, and generate positive social connections.

While we work hard to keep everything running smoothly, light bulbs do burn out. Maintenance concerns should be directed to your HRL Campus Office, or submit a Residential Work Order Request online.

For all needs concerning non-emergency building issues Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., please submit a Work Order Request.

If this is an EMERGENCY issue during business hours, please call the respective office, in addition to filling out the Work Order Request.
