Built in the late 1960s and renovated in 2016, Edens Quad is home to approximately 500 students. Edens offers multiple kitchens and common spaces, e-print, laundry, a fitness room, and yoga space. Edens Quad has a Residence Coordinator, an Academic Guide, two Graduate Residents and 15 Resident Assistants. Edens is also home to the Fouling Community and the SmartHome Extension Living Learning Communities.
Common areas, kitchens, and study areas are available in each of the seven buildings that make up Edens Quad. Several buildings in Edens have "lower" sections (bottom two floors) and "upper" sections (top two floors), and each section has dedicated common areas for residents who live nearby.

Opened in 2019, Hollows Quad is the newest residence hall on West Campus, housing 486 students in two buildings of suite-style living areas. Each suite features an en suite kitchenette, common area, one to two full bathrooms (depending on suite size), and single room options. Suites range in size from two to five students. Hollows Quad brings together most-up-to-date features in a Duke residence hall and provides more living choices for student housing on West Campus. Named after President Nannerl Overholser Keohane, Keohane Quad is home approximately 480 sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Keohane Quad (buildings 4A, 4B, and 4D) was opened in 2002 with the intent to link the Gothic revival architecture of West Campus to Edens Quad and featured McClendon Tower. The fourth wing of Keohane Quad (building 4E) was opened in 2012. Home to approximately 340 sophomores, juniors, and seniors, Kilgo Quad is the first residential building built on West Campus and offers five kitchens, six common rooms, three study rooms, two ePrints, and one laundry room. Kilgo had major renovations over several summers beginning in 2001, with another three common rooms renovated in January 2018. Kilgo Quad has a Residence Coordinator, an Academic Guide, one Graduate Resident and 13 Resident Assistants. Kilgo is home to two Living Learning Communities: Cardea Fellows and Transformative Ideas.
Kilgo Quad underwent extensive renovations during the summer of 2022. Six rooms on the first and second floors of Dollard House, named after the donor’s family and formerly House P, were renovated into a large multipurpose space. The new common area has been constructed with a sense of community in mind. The multipurpose space is designed and furnished so that it can serve as a study space, host a guest speaker or hold a social event with 75 students.

Swift Quad is comprised of 300 Swift, 301 Swift, and Smart Home. 300 Swift, acquired in December of 2016, is a 400+ bed apartment-style building available to juniors and seniors, who want to enjoy the trappings of off-campus living, while still residing in on-campus housing. Apartments come fully furnished and in an array of styles, including: 4-person, 2-bedroom 2-bath apartments; 2-person, 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartments; and 1-person, 1-bath studios apartments. All apartments open to interior hallways and are accessible by three elevators and several stairwells throughout the building.
301 Swift apartments are a 36 bed community dedicated to graduate and professional students who also want apartment living while having the convenience of on-campus housing. Each apartment comes fully furnished as well. All apartments open to exterior walkways.
The main unique quality of Swift Quad is simply its location. Nowhere else on campus can you be within walking distance of two places of worship (including a kosher dining option), tons of great local and national restaurants, two grocery stores, a major highway, and several bus lines (both Duke and Durham), all while living on-campus.

Wannamaker Quad is home to approximately 230 residents and offers two common rooms, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, two study rooms, a yoga studio, and an ePrint station. The building was renovated in summer 2016 and is almost 100% wheelchair accessible. Wannamaker Quad shares a Residence Coordinator and Academic Guide with Keohane and has its own Assistant Residence Coordinator as well as 6 Resident Assistants. Wannamaker hosts one Living Learning Community, the Wellness Community
There are two large common areas on the ground floor of Wannamaker. One Common Room contains full screen TVs, a communal kitchen, a Nintendo Wii, and a piano. The other Common Room contains full screen TVs, a communal kitchen, a Ping Pong table, and a massage chair. There are also two study rooms with wall to wall white boards for student use. There is also a Yoga Studio for residents to meditate, dance, and work out in.
Wannamaker is the closest dorm to K-Ville and the athletics facilities. Wannamaker also has a Yoga Studio for residential use to promote fitness and wellbeing.
