Christopher Nolan’s Golden Globe sweeping masterpiece finally arrives at Griffith Film Theater. The film follows the career of the “father of the atomic bomb” as he weighs the moral implications of the Manhattan Project. It will be screened at 7 and 10 pm in Griffith Film Theater (across from McDonald’s in the Bryan Center) on 1/26 and 1/27.
This Thursday, 1/25, come and see “Inception.” Christopher Nolan’s classic explores a group led by Leonardo DiCaprio who attempt to plant an idea in the head of a wealthy business mogul’s son. Learn to make a Froebel or Moravian Star—a sixteen point, three dimensional star from strips of paper. Paper folding can reduce stress and promote relaxation. It requires concentration and focus which helps to calm the mind and reduce anxiety. The repetitive folding of paper can also be meditative, similar to the practice of yoga or mindfulness meditation.
