oSTEM will be hosting our annual Sunset and Chill event to welcome everyone to the new semester! We will hang out on the beautiful rooftop of Grainger Hall and watch the sunset with friends, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and snacks. We look forward to seeing you there!
This training further explores systems of privilege and oppression and how they support and uphold allosexism, cissexism, and heterosexism alongside other systems that benefit some at the expense of others. Registration preferred, but drop ins welcome.
This training provides concrete actions one can take to provide tangible support, engage in advocacy, and move towards greater social equity for individuals with marginalized sexual orientations, romantic orientations, gender identity, and gender expressions.
This is a practice of Asana (physical movement), Pranayama (breathing exercises), and Dhyana (meditation). Each class will include mindfulness & breath control techniques, warm up movements to activate the body, a sequence of postures to maintain balance, flexibility and strength, and finally a deep relaxation experience.
