The Table Talk pilot is a proud inaugural recipient of the Heaton-Blackshear Innovation Grant.
*Click here to apply for Table Talk for the Spring 2024 semester.
Table Talk is simple! Selected students will have access to funds to take a faculty or staff member to a meal on campus. Talk about your personal and professional goals, your favorite TV show, the Duke/Clemson football game, time travel, or anything you want! Enjoy yourself, then tell us all about your experience.
Why? Because informal interactions with faculty and staff outside of the classroom can help you find pathways to success while you’re at Duke and increase your sense of belonging to the university.
Space in the pilot is limited. If you’re not selected to participate this semester, there will be another opportunity to apply next semester.
Eligibility
Students must be:
- enrolled in a Duke Durham campus-based graduate or professional program for the academic Year 2023-24
- physically located in Durham, NC and available to attend a meal on-campus during the spring 2024 semester
- expected to graduate from my program in May 2024 or later
