Belinda Locke comes to Duke from that school down the road with the other shade of blue where she served as the Director of Assessment and Strategic Planning for Student Affairs. As the Director of the Office of Assessment Belinda will be working collaboratively to develop core assessment and evaluation frameworks, tools and resources to develop capacity and a thriving culture of assessment across Student Affairs. She is committed to supporting departments in designing and implementing meaningful assessment and leveraging data toward the achievement of organizational goals.  Belinda is an innovative thinker who identifies systems and strategies to sustain quality assessment at the divisional, departmental, and program levels. Given Belinda’s strong track record of mentoring to support assessment-related professional development of staff, we look forward to Belinda leading efforts to centralize Duke Student Affairs assessment practices and processes.
