A half-day mindfulness retreat for students wanting to try an immersive, mindfulness experience.
"A year ago I went to CAPS due to stress and began taking prescribed medication to help me sleep at night. I don't like taking medication so wanted to find other ways to manage my life. I completed two Mindfulness classes, began meditating on a daily basis and enrolled in a Tai Chi class at Wilson. I am no longer taking sleep aides. This has been my best semester at Duke. Moments of Mindfulness ScheduleRetreat from the hustle and bustle of campus life into your very own Oasis. These environmental wellness spaces offer opportunities to disconnect and recharge by using each of the 5 senses.
Extending along the side of the Student Wellness Center, this meditative garden is a calming spot for you to meander through a natural living space, leaving cares and concerns behind.
The meditation garden features a yoga deck, a labyrinth for walking meditation, and our highly sought out egg chairs.

We are available to facilitate discussions and present interactive workshops on a variety of wellness topics and can adapt any workshop to meet the needs of your group.
