Well-being Strategies
Physical Activity
Don’t forget to keep moving!
- Take a walk around your neighborhood, or around campus if you’re staying in town! Bring a friend, whether in-person or on FaceTime if you want company.
- Stretching everyday helps keep the blood flowing, increases range of motion, and prevents injury!
Mental Health
Even if you’re not here, we’re here for you!
- Take advantage of Blue Devils Care, DukeLine, and CAPS if you need them.
- Try to focus on resting your brain while on break! Meditate, pay attention to lighting, and try and create a rest routine.
- Lessen screen time – even if you have to set a timer first!
Health Care
What to do if you feel sick.
- You can always call Student Health and speak to a triage nurse.
- Your local health department should have take-home COVID tests on-hand. Grab a few just in case.
- Stay home if you’re under the weather. Better to rest than spread anything to friends and fam.
