Tasha Curry-Corcoran is a learning and organizational development leader with over 25 years of experience working with Fortune 500 technology companies, retail, military, community development, and advocacy organizations. She is an award-winning member of the Association for Talent Development, holds a Masters degree in Human and Organizational Learning from George Washington University and a BA in Foreign Affairs from The University of Virginia. Jenn is the Director for Gender Violence Education and Outreach. In this capacity, she works as a wellbeing architect to build programming and engage in outreach to address gender violence on campus. Jenn is licensed professional counselor who is passionate about transformational learning, strategic planning and holistic care.Jenn specializes in trauma focused care and serving historically marginalized communities. Jenn’s ultimate goal is to inspire positive behavior change and promote a culture of wellness within the Duke community.
Calvin is a federal service member with the AmeriCorps serving here at Duke for a one-year term. She works to manage, evaluate, and improve food security programs across the university. Calvin hails from the University of Georgia with a background in food policy and nonprofit management.
Grace (she/her) spearheads parent and family initiatives including Family Weekend, advises Experiential Orientation Projects, and supports strategic planning for the First-Year Experience. Grace earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. After graduating, Grace worked as an admission counselor at her alma mater before going on to pursue her M.Ed in Higher Education Administration & Student Affairs at the University of South Carolina. In her free time, Grace can be found spending time with her husband and son, exploring local trails, playing board games, or watching lacrosse.
Alex joined Duke in 2024 as the Associate Director of Gender Violence Education and Outreach. She works to empower students through education, awareness, and proactive measures to foster a campus culture of consent, respect, and accountability. Alex works with campus partners and student organizations to develop and produce programming on campus in support of this goal. Alex earned her Bachelor Degrees in Art Therapy and Psychology from Converse College. She received her Master Degree in Clinical Art therapy & Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University.
