Tayla Suitte (she/her)
Assistant Director
Before joining the Women's Center in October 2023, Raleigh native, Tayla Suitte, resided in the Queen City where she became a two time graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Go Niners!). During her time at UNC Charlotte, Tayla earned a bachelors degree in Health Systems Management in December 2020 and a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology in May 2023.
As the Assistant Director of Community Engagement, Tayla facilitates collaborations with community organizations and campus partners to address issues relating to reproductive justice and gender equity. She oversees multiple programs including the the Alternative Break Program and Her Garden: Women of Color mentoring program, which offers content on identity development, leadership skills, and community building to women/femme identified students of color.
In her free time, Tayla enjoys listening to music, rollerskating, reading fantasy novels, and photography.
