Duke Student Affairs is here for you to help with Election Stress

Elections can be stressful. Strategies for managing stress include limiting media intake, practicing self-care, connecting with supportive friends, and considering professional help. To help you with the tools you need, Duke Student Affairs is offering facilitated calming moments, including meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques for reducing stress.

The Duke Identity & Cultural Centers are resources for students who are seeking community among individuals who share their identities will provide processing and discussion spaces post-election for students connected with their departments.

Our Identity & Cultural Centers include: Center for Multicultural Affairs, Center for Muslim Life, Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, Duke International Student Center, Jewish Life at Duke, Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture, and the Women’s Center.
